"The bear is coming our way!" screamed Martha and Lucy. "Climb that tall tree next to us!" James shouted. (if you're wondering what kind of bear it is, it's a grizzly bear, and grizzly bears can't climb) They climbed the tree, and the bear went away. When they got down from the tree, they looked up at the sky. "Looks as though we are going to get a pretty bad storm tonight," said James. "Aren't storms dangerous in forests?" asked Martha. "Yes, Martha," answered James, "In fact, they're so dangerous, that they can light a tree on fire!" "That's because there are so many trees here," replied Lucy.

DeleteYes, grizzly bears can't climb. Black bears can, and a kind of bear that lives in a jungle called sloth bears can, so it would be bad if they were being chased by a sloth bear of a black bear.
