Forest Adventure Chapter Twelve

"You're my cousin?!" asked Jonathan surprised. "Yes, and my name is Peter, but that's not important. I need you to do something." "What do you want me to do?" Jonathan asked. "I need you to go and steal something," "But, why do you "need" me to go and steal? And, who on?" "I need you to go and take Lucy's net," "Lucy's net! I can't do that," "Yes you can, Jonathan," "I won't just go and take Lucy's net.... Jonathan said. Then he added "Why do you need it anyway?" "Because I want more money," "Do you not have enough?" "I do have enough," said Peter, "But I want more. That's why I need Lucy's net," "How are you going to get more money with it?" Jonathan asked. "By using it to capture animals, and then sell them to zoos," (Animals usually live longer in zoos) "I guess I can take it," answered Jonathan. But Jonathan was actually thinking about just making Peter a net out of vines. "Okay then," said Peter, "The door of this cabin is right there," said Peter pointing behind Jonathan. Then he added, "You can go back to you're house, and then take Lucy's net, and bring it back to me. Then you can leave, and you won't have to come back here," "Bye!" called Jonathan. "Wait, Jonathan," said Peter. "You can keep the two horses in exchange for the net that you are going to bring me," "Thanks Peter," said Jonathan.

Bye!

  1. Hi, Hope. Capturing animals and selling them to the zoos sounds like a sad thing to do! And also very difficult, unless you are trained to work with animals I bet. Lucy is going to notice her net is missing....! Then what? Can't wait for chapter 13! Xoxo, Abigail

    1. Hi, Aunty Abigail. Yes, I guess it does seem a little bit sad, but actually animals usually live longer in zoos. Jonathan is just going to make Peter a net out of vines.
