Prairie Adventure Chapter Six

    On the back of the truck that Henry and Mary had jumped into, there was a cage. Henry quickly put the cage on the mother and baby, and then shot them both with a sleeping gun. 

    Then he drove quite a few miles away from the house, and then he opened the cage so the Mother that had just woken up could get out. He let the baby out too. 

    Then he and Mary started back to the house. On the way, they saw a baby pronghorn by itself. Before any of them got out, Henry and Mary looked around. They didn't see any adult pronghorns, so Henry got out of the car, and picked up a cage that was at his feet. Then he slowly walked towards the baby pronghorn. He carefully lifted up the baby and put it inside the cage. Then when he was inside of the car again, he opened the cage and handed the baby to Mary. Then he drove back to the house.
