Arabian Adventure Chapter Four

The day after the group went horse riding, they found a big surprise. They had gone on a walk to one of the mountains in Arabia, and when they did they saw a baby golden jackal that had lost it's mother (golden jackals are very rare)! Katie put the cage on it and then she lifted the cage up. Then she and everyone else walked back to Henry and Mary's cabin. When they got back Mary and Katie fed the baby golden jackal. Mary fed it some berries and then Katie fed it some beef. When the baby was done eating, Katie asked, "Why didn't that baby get carried away by some eagle?" "I don't know," answered John. Then Henry said, "Maybe it just hid really, really well," "But Henry," said Mary, "If it was hid really well, then why did we just find it out in the open?" "Maybe someone put the baby there!" said John. "John, why did someone hide it?" asked Katie. "Maybe it was because someone wanted to get us out of John and Katie's cabin for a while so that they could take something!" said Mary. "Now I'm starting to get it," said Katie. "So are you saying that someone is robbing John and Katie?" asked Henry. "Yes!" answered Mary.
