Henry, John, Mary and Katie dashed down to John and Katie's cabin. When they checked the door, they saw it was locked! They went around to the back and saw that one of the windows had been smashed! They climbed through it and then they went up the stairs. When they got to the top of the stairs, they saw someone climbing down a rope! They saw that it was tied to the window. Anyway, when they ran over to him, they saw that they were too late. The thief was getting away. Henry and John went back to Mary and Katie and told them that the thief had gotten away. "Do you know what he stole?" asked Katie. "I didn't see," replied John, "Did you see Henry? Henry?" Henry was laughing. "What's so funny?" asked John. "I saw what the thief took," said Henry. "What?" asked Mary. "He stole a hairpin!" "What!" said Katie shocked, "He did all that just for a hairpin?!" "Yes," answered Henry, "I guess he did," "That's weird," said John, "Very,"
