Going to Mongolia Chapter Five

They all waited on the phone, but after a short while (Ten minutes!), William decided to go check his phone. But still nothing worked. So they went to go ask someone if his phone was working, and he said yes. "Why, are your phones not working?" asked the man. "Do you want me to check them?" "Sure," said James, "Thank you," So the man checked their phones, and he said that someone had messed up all the settings, so they wouldn't work! "Sorry," he said, "But you can still get them to work, you just need to try to get all the settings in the right place and everything," "How long do you think that will take?" and Mary. "I don't know, a hour or so?" he said, "It's the quickest way," "An hour!" said Henry, "Well then, we'd better get going," "Goodbye!" said Katie, "And thank you!" "Your welcome!" he replied. So they all ran of to the office, and got their phones fixed. So they tried again, and it worked! But, instead of Michael showing up, it was one of his other friends. They asked him to tell them where Michael was, but he refused. So they asked him where he was but he still refused to tell, so they decided to hang up. And then they called the police, and they asked them what was wrong. They told the police what was wrong. They said that Katie had found a special piece of paper saying where he would be, but they thought it was no use! "Whey don't you think it's any use?" asked Henry. "Because," said the police, "Well, first of all, you don't think that a thief would put his actual name in the piece of paper, would he? And also, he probably wouldn't give away where he was," Then they all realized that they had been following the wrong clues!
