I want to tell you about how I sleep. I started sleeping terribly five days ago. The first night when I started sleeping really bad, I couldn't go to sleep until ten o'clock! Then after the first night came the second night. The second night I couldn't fall asleep until nine! You can tell I was a bit less tired because of falling asleep at ten o'clock I fell asleep at nine o'cl0ck! Yay! But then the third night I fell asleep at
12 o'clock! Such bad sleeping! And then the fourth night I fell asleep at one in the morning! I felt terrible. Then the fifth night ( last night ) I found a bit of Lily's dress on the floor, I was setting the clock to the right time. So I picked up the part of Lily's dress, and tied it around my eye's, so that it was like a blind-fold! Because I couldn't sleep well. But after ten minutes it became too hot. So I went into the girl's bathroom, and I wet the bit of dress. But then, I found out it was hot water! Lily was in the bathroom as well, and she told me to shake it out in our room, where it was cold. When I did, it made the blind-fold cold! So I tied it onto my eye's again. I kept it on for about an hour, but then I took it off because it was to cold. And on the fifth night ( Last night ) I couldn't fall asleep until two in the morning! I really mean it! BYE
Dear Hope, I am praying right now that you can sleep soundly. Is it dark enough in your room? Can you take a little nap in the day to help make up for your lack of sleep in the nighttime? I am so sorry that you are having this problem. I love you! Grandma

DeleteDear Grandma,
Thank you. No, it is not dark enough in the room. And yes, I take naps with Simeon. But usally I have to read my school books, so as soon as I finish reading the books in Simeon's room with a torch, he wakes up! So there's not enough time for me to fall asleep. Yeah, I really don't like falling asleep at midnight......Hope
P.S. Grandma, do you know why Joshua makes his name JLB? I don't......Hope
Sorry for doing the May 29, 2020 thing....Hope
DeleteTo whoever reads this comment, when I read this blog post I thought, hmm, I don't remember writing a blog post about my week. Then I realized it was a post about YOUR week! I have also had difficulty sleeping (>w<). One night, I woke up with a mosquito bite on my hand and a mosquito bite on my neck. I rubbed a bit of hand soap on it to take the sting away and then tried to go back to sleep. A short while later, I woke up with a mosquito bite on my ear and a mosquito bite on my cheek!! Nobody uses mosquito nets here because we usually don't need them... but I think I need one tonight!! Something I do when I am really hot at night is to put a little bit of water all over my skin (cheeks, arms, legs, neck, etc.) and then I will begin to cool off. I hope we both can sleep better tonight.

It must have been really annoying. Did it hurt? I put water on my cloths at night, but it feels really, really yucky. It feels like slime!.....Hope
